With your parts and labour warranty this means that should any issues arise with your item due to a fault with your product, we do not charge for any call outs, collection or any fees to repair and replace the faulty part(s).

Warranty is designed to protect you the user from any manufacturing faults that have occurred during the warranty period.

Do I have to pay for an engineer call out or repair, if my product is faulty under warranty?

We do not charge for call outs, item collection or repairs when you have experienced any faults under you warranty. Simply call our dedicated and supportive aftersales team who will be on hand to assist you with your issue.

Delivery:

Free Standard Delivery (3-5 Working Days).

Should you feel that you don't need the assistance of an engineer to deliver, assemble and demonstrate your new purchase to you, then opt for Free Standard Delivery (3-5 Working Days). This involves the delivery of your purchase by one of our courier partners. Your item will remain boxed and will be delivered to your door, driveway, or kerbside, depending on the size of your purchase. The courier cannot bring your item inside of your property.

Room of Choice Delivery (3-5 Working Days).

Should you wish or need the courier to bring your item in to your property then please select Room of Choice Delivery (3-5 Working Days) at checkout. This is where our courier partners will bring your item in to your property and unbox it for you. They cannot assemble your item for you.

Engineered Delivery (10-14 Working Days).

If you think that the task of receiving this item, assembling it yourself might be a challenge, then consider purchasing our Engineer Delivery Service (10-14 Working Days). Our engineers will arrange a convenient day and time to deliver your new purchase to you. They will assemble your item for you, demonstrating all the features, making sure that you are 100% happy with your new mobility equipment.

We offer a no hassle and free returns policy for our products! Should your item arrive and you find that it isn't suitable for you or the person you are buying it for, simply contact our team to request a return and we'll take care of the rest!

How long do I have to return my order?

You have a 14-calendar day window to return unused products in their original packaging for a full refund. After this period, we are unable to accept returns, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note that we cannot accept returns for special orders or made-to-order products, as these are custom-made to your specified order.

Returns are not accepted for products that, when used, may compromise health and safety regulations, such as bathroom, toilet, or incontinence products, mattresses, and perishable items. A refund can only be issued if the product(s) arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect. In the case of incontinence products, a refund can only be granted if the outer packaging/wrapping has not been opened.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

How easy is it to separate the two pieces?

To seperate the two pieces you simply need to be able to fold the chair in to it's normal folded state. Stand the chair upright, to which you will be able to access the release bar, which detaches the two sections, allowing you to lift one part upwards splitting the chair into tow. It shouldn't take no more than 10 seconds or so.

Can I transfer the joystick on to the left hand side?

The joystick is interchangeable, meaning that you can have the joystick mounted on either the left or right hand side.

When the attendant control is fitted at the rear, does it disable user's joystick sitting in the chair?

If you require a rear attendant joystick to take over the control, then yes, when the attendant joystick is turned on, the person sitting in the chair cannot use their joystick. You can also simply detach the user's joystick.

Can the DE08L be used indoors as well as outdoors?

Yes, the DE08L is a fantastic product for outdoors, being able to tackle a lot of uneven terrains, as well as inclines. The DE08L is also very manoeuvrable and will turn on its own axis, so it's perfect for going in to shops, cafes, supermarkets etc, where space can be an issue.

Can I take this on a plane or a cruise?

Yes, the DE08L is both airline friendly and cruise friendly.

I want to purchase another battery, can this be done at a later point?

Yes, you don't need to purchase additional batteries at the point of order. Should later down the line you require more batteries to increase the range, we stock and can supply them to you. Please not that you will need to make use of your battery connector that will have been supplied new with your chair. If you have lost the battery connector, you can purchase an additional one from us also.

Can I test drive the DE08L before making a purchase?

Our main warehouse distribution facility is based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, so we can accomodate inquiries about trialing the chair within a 1 hour radius of there. We also encourage and invite customers to come visit our store, as we have the DE08L on the showroom floor to demonstrate. For customers further a field where a home demonstration can't occur, we would advise speaking on the phone, live chat or virtually to one of our product advisors, where they can run through everything and provide free impartial advice. We do also have a returns policy, meaning that should customers go ahead and order the DE08L, but upon delivery it not be suitable, then they do have the option to request a return within the return period.

Do the arm rests flip back?

Yes, the arm rests flip back to allow and aid side transfer.

Can I take the batteries off the DE08L to charge?

Yes, the lightweight lithium batteries can be detached off the chair to allow the user the ability to carry just the battery inside to charge, rather than the whole chair.

Do I need to choose engineered delivery for this item?

The DE08L does come mostly ready assembled in the box, and only requires the person to fit the joystick and batteries on to the chair. We would usually advise customers that normal courier delivery should be absaloutely fine, however, should you want the handover, demonstration and to have the item assembled for you, then this is where we would advise you select engineered delivery which is £80.

What is the recommended pressure for the rear pneumatic tyres?

For Freedom Chairs, we recommend up to 2.5 Bar or 40psi of air pressure

Is the DE08L Airline Friendly?

Yes, the DE08L Freedom Chair is airline friendly, with it's batteries being below 300Wh capacity, which airline like the batteries to be below.
